Hi.

So we're bringing you this episode today for a very specific reason.

And that is the incredibly cruel, purposefully inhumane set of announcements that was made by the Trump administration last week about rolling back Obama era health protections for trans people.

We are just as upset about it as all of you.

And we are very sorry for anybody who is feeling personally affected by that.

And we wanted you to know that our hearts are very very much with you

this weekend always but specifically this past week and we first of all we know we're going to get

through this as a community right we always do we got each other's backs this man is hopefully

leaving office soon yes yes we all vote. This is why we all must vote.

Vote. Vote. Vote. Vote. Vote for Biden. Anyway, um, also, it's going to be okay. Regardless,

we are going to gel as a community and we are going to fight this tooth and nail, and it's all

going to be okay, and we're going to come out on top the way that we have so many, so many, so many

times. It is just the way of progress, and we have an incredible support system with each other,

and we're going to make it. So in that vein, we are bringing you a very hopeful trans story

this week. Now, we recorded this episode before all of these super shitty things happened with the Trump

administration.

Also before the protests were happening.

But as Nicole was saying, we think this is a great episode to release this week.

Miles has an incredibly inspiring and

hopeful story. He had some real adversity of his own that he did overcome and came out on the

other side of and is living an amazing life. And so we wanted to share something hopeful with you in light of the other things happening.
