100% over. I was actually in Monterey for Car Week in the Monterey Peninsula up the coast of California

with Rolex for the weekend, which was utterly lovely. And then Jim and Nico, my partner and our

son, drove up to just enjoy the fancy hotel room.

And we were all supposed to drive home after the Pebble Beach Concourse to Elegance,

which is where they parade all these fancy, very, very well-maintained, mint condition,

vintage cars around on the Pebble Beach golf course, which is just a stunning location.

Anyway, we were due to drive home right after that, like midday Sunday.

And that would have put us right into the eye of the storm as it was lashing Southern California.

So we ended up staying an extra night and thinking that Nika would miss his first day of

TK, transitional kindergarten, which was supposed to start on Monday,

but all schools across L.A. ended up closing. So it worked out. It worked out that we didn't end up

driving on Sunday and we got home. And now it's really sunny. I've seen a lot of funny memes about

how much prep and anxiety and angst there was as the storm was approaching and how relatively little
