No. Nine years. Nine years of fact.

In honor of December, kind of being a momentous month in so many ways, in a busy month,

in a travel month for so many people, and on top of that are podcast birth. They would like to

pick a pretty big film to talk about. And today we're going to talk about scream. And once we

announced that we were doing scream in the last episode, so many people reached out to me and we're

like, holy shit, you've never done scream. I noticed that. I feel like we've like referenced it

tangentially. We've talked about intergenerational trauma. We've talked about the meta. We've tackled

a couple of nineties films, and we've referenced scream, but we've never done the episode. This is it.

And I think for me, I always felt very trepidacious about doing this as an episode. And I've got

two reasons why. And I feel like, you know, now doing this episode, I'm like, okay, maybe this is

just finally shedding that, you know, snake coat of fear and repression. So what of them involves you?

Oh, dear. So early on when Andrea and I were becoming friends before a fact, I said to Andrea,

you know, we're really hitting it off. And like, we're hanging out on our own and going on like

friend dates. And it was wild. And I was like, gee, Andrea, you know, it's a great movie scream.

And I can't remember exactly what you said, but it was a distinctive. Oh, and I was like,

oh, did that hurt your heart? Well, it just made me realize that cool people don't like scream

sometimes. Like I literally thought like everyone would love scream in the horror community. I
