listening. What's going on at your place this week? Anything exciting?

Here we are super excited for summer to come.

Being outside is starting to feel really good.

And I'm loving our blossoms.

And the leaves are returning.

As I look out over our mountains, you can see green now instead of brown.

So that's always really exciting.

I live in Utah where we have four very distinct seasons and spring is absolutely gorgeous. So I'm thinking a hike this weekend with Baxter and my family and maybe

some hammocking sounds like a good idea. On that note, I thought it would be good to talk about taking

your dog to new places and recall. How do I get my dog to come to me at the

park? Or how do I get my dog to walk with me on a trail? Can I take them off leash? Or anywhere new,

really? A strong recall can give your dog more opportunities to go places with you and be with you.

If I am confident my dog will come when called, then we really do enjoy

more activities together. So today I thought, let's take a look at how recall is going.

Now, when we talk about recall, there are many different levels. I always begin with a new dog

working on this inside my home from just a few feet away. I make it super simple for them to succeed.
