Hi. That's my intro. I think it's presumptuous to say that I'm everyone's favorite. I do think you are everyone's favorite. You have great people. Quick stats. Yes. You have great people. Well, it's an honor to be here. I knew you had a heavy week this week and so I was going to try to release you from the podcast. Yes. And then I was talking, we were talking about in our office yesterday and I asked

1:11.2

Anna and Katie and I was like, you know, what should I do? Because I don't want Nick to have to do a podcast

1:14.6

with me. And I just, you know, I knew you had a big week. And they were like, sorry, he has to do it.

1:21.8

Everybody loves them. We did pivot, though, because we were going to do a pretty heavy-ish episode.

1:28.0

We were going to do an episode called, like, what happens when Christians disagree?

1:33.2

And the truth is, I planned that months ago.

1:36.0

Yeah.

1:36.4

And then in the last few weeks, there have been a lot of Christians disagreeing.

1:40.0

Yes, but it is not historically new.

1:43.1

No.

1:43.7

Yeah.

2:01.0

So I should. Christians always be disagreeing. Yeah, which is, yeah. So I think what happens when, well, we have thousands and thousands of years. Yeah. So. Well, what I'd like to do today instead is do a version of our date-night question game because we are big date-night question people. So I have five questions that I have not prepped you with. And also, like, I had no idea. The theme, like, I had no idea what we were doing. Right. This is great. Yeah. But can we do a preamble? Sure. Because here's what happened. I appreciate that you said that. Christians have been disagreeing for a really long time. Yes. You know, I mean, you read those early church mothers and fathers and the creeds and the councils. They would go to blows physically. They thought there was a heretic in the house. They would fight them. Yes. And we are not advocating for that. We're certainly not advocating for that. But if you're a Christian right now, especially in America, who's like, oh my gosh, there's so much dissension. There is. In fact, you're not wrong.

2:35.5

But it's always been there. Yes. It's just now it's on the surface. We just have more access to it. Yeah. I think that maybe it wasn't like as bad in the 90s, and I think it's just like everybody was watching friends or something, you know? I don't know. Nobody talked about.

2:49.3

The Christians didn't talk about politics as much as they do now.

2:52.1

I'm sure they did.
