fine gentlemen that i sit with virtually this evening have been gracious enough to allow me a confessed

player one podcast super fan to once again join them for a celebration and a trip down memory lane.

Now, everybody who's watching and listening already loves the show.

And we love the show because these guys, they're our friends.

We listen to them every week. We welcome them into our lives.

We probably know these guys better than most people in our, that we know in real life at this point.

They don't lecture us. They're not shouting over each other.

They're not giving us hot takes.

They're not trying to influence us.

They're just three good friends who make our lives better by doing the show.

And we all hope they keep doing it for a long time.

The Player One podcast has seen a lot over its 20 years.

It's seen the fall of video game magazines, the rise and fall of video game websites,

the shift to digital purchasing and storing of games, which CJ has championed since the days of the PSP go.

Basically, everything that these guys used to do,

like work in a video games retail store

or work for a video game magazine,

it's all gone, long gone.

And yet, this show thrives on as good or better

than it's ever been.

And we're all better for that.
