Many of you already know that Ray is the father of late bassist and perhaps the most beloved character in the entire Metallica saga, the legendary Cliff Burton. Ray was so generous with his time and stories about what Cliff was like as a child, the early days of Metallica, the rise of the band and preserving Cliff's memory all these years later. And then in a lot of ways, as you guys are going to find out when you listen, he was just so easy to talk to. You know, he made us feel really comfortable. He was really forthcoming with stories about Cliff's life, about his life.
