Welcome to Citizen, we've got a very special guest today, Florida man Dave Rubin, relatively

new Florida man, right? You moved in what last year or the year before? A year and a half, I believe

it was December 17th 2021, a day that will live in infamy if your Gavin Newsom who was trying to

oppress me. Oh yeah, he's he's on one now. It's it's really incredible how now we should be used to

being gaslit by politicians. That's kind of their thing, right? But it's the way that it's happening

now is just incredible because before you could do it because the average let's call it a

pleb wasn't able to access the information like we are now, but now you just look that shit up, right?

It's so incredible because you know, look, I do politics daily for a living. You guys are obviously

doing a lot of political stuff. Everyone's into politics. It's our national sport these days.

One of the things that I keep trying to tell people, and everyone tries to debate policy and be like,

no, I'm right about that policy and that's why you must join me and together we will, you know,

we'll take over the universe, whatever. We'll rule the galaxy. But that's not really how it works.

To me, all you have to do these days to kind of gauge whether someone's seeing it the way it is

or in some very distorted way is look where people are going and look where they're fleeing.

And at the end of the day, a million plus people have fleed to Florida, over 1200 people a day,

even now, over a million, about a million three have left Cali, about a million have left New York,

and then it's not just Florida they're going to. They're also going to Texas and Tennessee and

a couple of Midwest states. And that, so we could do taxes all day long. We could even do COVID policy

all day long and all that. But at the end of the day, where do people want to live and where don't they

want to live? That's pretty much all you need to know. Sure, but taxes have been an issue in these
