Genesis 42 through 50, God meant it unto good.

In the very beginning, above the opening paragraph, it says, reading the Scriptures invites

the Spirit.

Listen for his promptings as you read, even if they don't seem directly related to what

you're reading.

And I want to tell you guys, I think that's part of the secret of the universe of studying

the Scriptures every day is that when we devote that time to God, when we pray and then

we start reading, he opens up our mind so that we can learn the things that we need

to learn so that we can have the experiences that we need to, maybe so that we can be led

to the right words in the right places.

But I really like that it said, even if it has nothing to do with what you're reading,

this is a time that you've opened up communication between you and the Lord.

So that's another reason why we need to have our face in the Scriptures every day so that

we can receive those revelations and thoughts about things that are happening in our own

life.
