Hey Mike, can we start this by just saying congratulations. Mike, you have been so much

part of the producing team of the aftermath and from day one you should have been nominated

along with the producers because I couldn't do the program without you and we were lucky

enough to be nominated for an Emmy this year and for the first time you received the

Emmy alongside with us the producers and you have always been a producer and you've always

been the one who stayed late with me Mike you have always been the person who cared with

me Mike and fought for our show Mike and so I want to congratulate you you deserve it and I thank

you to the to the Academy for acknowledging us and the way that you have in the past by giving

us the honor of an Emmy and also in our finale giving it to the contributors of our finale.

So we are so grateful I wish you would have seen our real reaction when it really happened

snotting all over the place it was not pretty but it was meant so much Mike. Yes it did

and Leah yeah thank you I love you I really do stop looking at me look at that

me I can feel you're gonna cry that nothing in this show would have happened had it not

been for you it would this show could have been done without me it could not have been done

without you and would never have it would never have gotten to the air it never would have

been anything if it hadn't been for your drive and certainly I was with you from really the

get go but it's Leah Remini Scientology in the aftermath not Mike Rinda Scientology in the

aftermath so I have always as you know being just happy that the show was recognized yes that

the contributors were recognized agreed the real value of an Emmy award or the producers award or

all of the other awards is the recognition of people in a very important industry that the stories

that were being told and have been told actually matter that's that's the real value of those things

and my appreciation for the voters who are voted for these various awards is an appreciation for them
