Summary

0:06.4	of the show. And in this show, you're going to be hearing stories from real people I've interviewed
0:11.2	who have experienced something paranormal, supernatural, or simply unexplainable.
0:16.0	For those of you who don't know me, I'm a director and I host a comedy podcast called Gabbitt Still.
0:20.7	I wear a lot of different hats, but one thing I've never really been known as as a paranormal person
0:24.8	is somebody that easily believes in far-fetched things. I think you probably know the type of person
0:29.2	I'm talking about. That's not me. But that changed for me a few years ago when I decided to do a
0:34.7	Halloween episode for my comedy podcast. I asked our listeners if anybody had experienced something
0:39.6	paranormal and I was completely blown away by how many submissions we got. Not only that,
0:45.3	the type of things these people experienced. These weren't just people who heard a bump in the
0:49.5	night or saw something out of the corner of their eye. These were serious eyewitness testimonies
0:54.6	from all over the world that couldn't just be explained away. Not only that,
0:59.6	they were all from people that I thought were super normal and very credible.
1:04.6	As I continue to talk with these people who have had these experiences, it became harder for me
1:09.1	to write this stuff off as fun campfire stories. There are simply so many people out there
1:13.8	who have experienced things that can't be explained away. And if what they experienced is real,
1:18.8	the impact that would have on our understanding of reality as a whole would be massive.
1:23.3	Even if you think 98% of this stuff is made up for people imagining things,
1:28.0	that of the 2% is a huge number. That's a lot of people who have experienced something
1:33.0	that defies explanation. In fact, most of the people who have had the most extreme experiences
1:38.0	never tell anybody about it. Most of the people I interview end up telling me that I'm the first
1:42.8	person they told. It's a pattern I've noticed and a theme I plan on exploring in this project.
