Hello, hello, how you doing? I'm Chris Shifflet, welcome to walk in the floor.

Or I should say, welcome to the first episode of my

brand new podcast Walk in the Floor with me, Chris Shiflet. On today's show, I'll be talking to Bakersfield legend Red Simpson, but before we get to that,

let me tell you about a few of the other interviews that I've got coming up in the next few weeks.

I interviewed John Doe from X. I interviewed Nick Arson from The Hives,

also the original drummer for the Buckaroos, Willie Cant too and and I had an amazing conversation with

Peter Case that that he was kind enough to let go on for hours so that might have to

be a two-parter, we'll see.

So anyway, I'll be posting all those up on my website, Chris ShipletMusiccom.

I'll try to get those up there soon, so stay tuned and check them out.

So some of you may know, I've been busy wood shedding with foods, so we haven't been doing a lot of dead peasant shows lately,

but we do have a run of dates down the west coast

coming up in November with our awesome label mates Reverend Payton's big damn

band it's gonna be pretty much from Seattle all the way down to Reverend Payton's Big Dam Band.

It's going to be pretty much from Seattle all the way down to San Diego.

We're going to play Portland, San Francisco, LA.

We're playing everywhere.

And no, we're not playing Chile, Argentina, Brazil, or Turkey yet.

But we are gonna play there someday.
