Alistair Crowley in this episode. A lot of people don't know who he is, what he

did and we we thought we'd tell you a little bit about him, so you are that much more informed, by gosh.

Yeah, and you're going to be surprised at the unseen hand Mr. Crowley has had in your life. You don't even know the things he's set in

motion that are actually guiding you on a day-to-day basis. It's true he's he stuck

his hands and other things in many many a pot as it were.

So, Alistair Crowley, born in 1875.

He's English.

He was birth name Edward Alexander Crowley. He actually changed that to

Alister in 1895 because he hated Alec which was the name that his mother would

call him. He thought Alexander was too long,

and he didn't feel like an Edward, apparently.

So he took the E from Edward, put it into an otherwise

normally serviceable Alistair.

The funny thing about that is he changed his name because according to him,

he, from what he read, the most favorable name for becoming famous was one that was
