I've been thinking a lot about that lately. And it coincides with a quote that I heard

from Naval Ravakin who says, escape competition through authenticity. So for those of you who

are listening, chances are you are always competing. You're competing against other athletes,

competing against other companies, competing against yourself, the market, whatever it may be.

And these are two strategies or two little principles remember on how to escape competition.

You can go with what Naval said, escape competition through authenticity. And the other one is

to remember that the harder something is to do, the less competition you'll have. And so

my journal, the journal prompt for today is to part. Number one is to write down all the ways

that you are unique. Who are you? What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? What are your

goals? What are your passions? What are your experiences? Because there's nobody in the world,

nobody in the world who has the exact same collection of hopes, dreams, experience, education,

strengths, purpose. There's no one. There's no one in the world who has that. So you escape

values is another one that nobody has that perfect combination. No one has that except you.

So it takes some time to sit down and write that. What makes, what is it that makes you unique?

And you may look at all of these individually and think, oh, there's a lot of people who've done

this. There's a lot of people who've done this. There's a lot of people who has this value and

that value and this purpose. But when you add the aggregate of all those things combined with your

experiences of who you were you were born in your family, all of these things, that's how you

escape competition. And then number two is doing hard things. The harder something is to do,
