Good morning and welcome to the Increasing Rimpact Podcast. I'm Justin Suah episode 1,840 and today I want to read an excerpt from

0:08.0

Mark Andreessen who is a venture capitalist and engineer. He says this quote,

0:14.0

I am also continually amazed at the number of people who coast through life and don't go and seek out opportunities,

0:21.0

even when they know in their gut what they'd really like to do. Don't be one of those people. Life is way too short,

0:29.0

close quote. The reason I love that is because it struck a chord. My wife and I, we have three kids,

0:36.0

and one of the things that we constantly try to reinforce in our home,

0:44.0

is the fact that we would love our kids to swing for the fences,

One thing that was interesting is they sought these opportunities. They're willing to take a risk and go for it.

1:39.0

1:46.0

What Mark and Darius say in the saying is to go for it because life is too short.

1:50.0

Someone told me a couple of weeks ago that the reason they pursue,

1:53.0

the reason they're willing to lean into uncertainty is because they always think this,

1:58.0

that they're going to be dead a lot longer, they're going to be, then they're going to be alive.

2:02.0

So why not just go for it?

2:04.0

And so whoever you are, wherever you are, whenever you're listening to this,

2:08.0

I do not know what your circumstances are, but maybe this principle, this lesson from Mark and Darius
