1,827. You cannot underestimate the power of a fresh start. We have spoken about

this principle many times on this podcast. We were each given 86,400 seconds a

day. It doesn't matter who you are. It doesn't matter where you live. It doesn't

matter how much. Money you have doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what you do for a

living. We all get 86,400 seconds a day. And the question becomes how are you

going to use that time? What are you going to use? It's a prep time as a precious

finite resource. Attention is also a precious finite resource. And how are you

going to use your attention to help you rather than hurt you today? Today is a

fresh start, especially if you're listening to this in the morning, you get to

choose. And many of you have heard me say this before a phrase that we say in our

home very often is in the morning. I always ask my kids, do you know what the best

part about today is? And now they roll their eyes and they say, yes dad, we've

never lived this one before. And it's true. It's part cheesy, but it's true. You've

never lived this day before. So how are you going to approach it? How are you going

to attack it? What are you going to do? What kind of attitude you're going to have?

How are you going to show up to work, to school, to your game? The cool thing is you

are the author. You have the pen in your hand. You get to choose how things unfold.

Yes, there are things you can't control. I get that. There are circumstances.

There are people. There are many of you are in very, very difficult situations.

And I'm not saying that it's not. I'm not saying everything is rosy. Everything's

wonderful. What I am saying, what I'm asking is how are you going to choose to
