Good morning and welcome to the Increase Your Impact Podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 1,8006. I want to share with you a story that I recently ran into again. I believe we talked about the story years ago and it's entitled We'll See.

So the story is about a father, a Chinese farmer who has a son, and one day his horse takes off and runs for

the hills. The son runs inside and he says, dad, you're not going to believe this. The horse ran away.

This is horrible. We're going to die out here. The father says, I don't know if it's horrible or not.

We'll see. A few days later, the son is sitting on the

porch and he sees the horse running towards him. But not only does he see his horse coming back,

but there are 50 wild stallions behind his horse, also running back to the house. The son runs,

opens the paddock, and then close it behind, behind him, his horse and all the other. The son runs, opens the paddock, and then enclose it behind, behind him,

his horse and all the other horses. He runs inside and he yells to his dad, dad, you're not going to

believe this. The horse not only came back, but it came back with 50 other stallions. This is a miracle.

This is amazing. We can get into the horse trading business now. We're going to be rich.

The father says, I don't know if it's a miracle or not, son. We'll see. A few more days pass,

and while the son is trying to harness one of the new stallions, the horse panics, kicks,

and shatters the son's leg. This is horrible, the son says. And the father replies, we'll see.

The next day, hundreds of soldiers on horseback showed up to showed up and the general gets off his

horse and informs the father that a war is on the horizon. All of the young men must join the army.

The father points out that his son's leg is

broken and he tells the general that he's going to be useless in battle. The general looks at his

son and agrees and they write off. The son can't believe his luck. I don't know if you got lucky

and the father says, I don't know if we got lucky or not son we'll see the purpose
