Today we're talking about the importance of managing your expectations. A lot of times we have

people who have high expectations, high standards. They take a look at their actions,

and they think that their actions are going to lead to success very quickly,

and they're going to be at the top of their craft.

They're going to win the championship.

They're going to get that body.

You're going to get that paycheck.

You're going to get that secure that next contract.

And it's all going to happen according to your plan.

But the reality is that's not always the case.

And the thing that gets in people's way is their expectation.

You cannot underestimate how long it's going to take and how hard it's going to be.

If you have high goals and you're visualizing yourself achieving them and you want to,

and you want to achieve them and you're working to achieve them, one thing you need to

remember and keep in mind and not underestimate, One thing you need to expect is that it is

going to be difficult. You must expect that you must have the lifestyle, the work ethic, the focus,

the grit, the determination, the perseverance that matches your goals.

Because too many times people will set these high goals and what they underestimate is the

lifestyle required to get there. The habits required in order to achieve it.

And so as you look at your goals, as you look at your life, make sure you calibrate your

expectations and know that the thing that might be frustrating you, it's not the results.
