Good morning, my friends. Welcome to the Increase Your Impact podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 1713.

Today's message is the importance of seeing the good and the bad. It's hard. Performance is hard. Work is hard. Life is hard. Sports are hard.

Pursuing greatness individually is hard. It's even more difficult, not necessarily more difficult, but it is just as difficult

trying to do the same as a team or an organization. And when trash hits the fan, when things aren't working out, it's very easy to point fingers.

It's easy to blame other people for the shortcomings of your team or for your own

shortcomings. It's easier to blame someone else and to not accept the, look the person in the mirror and say it's that person's fault, that person referring to you.

So you want to be that person who can look at the bright side of a difficult situation and keep tough times in perspective.

Now, this does not mean to be unrealistic.

It doesn't mean to be naive.

It means being able to stare adversity in the face

and then focusing on what you can control.

I am not a fan of brushing things under the rug

For me, it's all about accepting the brutal facts.

Now what are we going to do about it? That, believe it or not, is positivity. That's looking at the bright side of your situation.
