All right, coaches, I want you to imagine a plate spinner, these circus performers that are spinning plates on tall, thin sticks.

And I want you to imagine one by one, the plates begin to wobble. And what does this plate spinner do?

The plate spinner doesn't panic, doesn't give the plates a pep talk,

doesn't give long speeches,

he just jogs over there and gives a plate a quick little tap.

Just enough to keep that wobbling plate spinning. And that's exactly what great connectors look

like. Too often we think relationships are built in big, deep, heavy, meaningful conversations.

But the reality is, it's the small, consistent, often authentic taps over time that matter. The check-ins, the text that says,

hey, thinking about you, the glance, the nod, the handshake, the fist bumps, those moments

where you pause and actually deeply listen to the player talking to you. It's not some grand gesture. It's more of a

cadence. It's a consistent rhythm. And these coaches that are elite connectors, they understand the

importance of this rhythm. They know when someone's plate is wobbling. They sense when a player is

off, when a teammate is flat, when a coach has some

an assistant coach has some problems going on at home. They're aware when someone needs a little

lift. And what do they do? They tap just enough to keep that relationship spinning. But the catch is

you have more than one plate.

You have multiple plates.

You're not just managing one person.

You have your team.

You have a staff.

You have your family.
