But it's a different chapter. We're actually at the last chapter of 2 Corinthians 13. I'm always excited about God's

words. So open up your Bibles, open up your app. You can still listen while you do this,

2nd Corinthians chapter 13. Now looking at this chapter, the Church of Corinth failed to follow the

Apostle Paul's lead. And this left the Apostle Paul feeling frustrated, of course. If you like to be in charge,

this episode right here is just for you. So don't you dare pause it, don't try to skip it,

or don't say this right here is not for you. Because I, myself, know that I get frustrated.

Even watching my four-year-old daughter get upset at my two-year-old son,

when he doesn't follow her lead by feeding dolls the correct way, many of us are just the same

like Paul. We'd prefer to be in charge. But we're going to take a look at how Paul chose to

exercise authority and the purpose for that authority.

So here we are in the last chapter of 2 Corinthians,

and we have to be reminded of the last verse, of course, in 2nd Corinthians 12.

Many in the church were living contrary to the will of God.

Many were resisting Paul's authority and were unwilling to abandon ungodly behavior.

Now, looking at verse 2, Paul saying,

I told you before, I warned you.

2 Corinthians 132, Paul is saying,

I warned you that that warning right there

came in a previous letter. Well, what's the previous letter?

1 Corinthians 5 and 1 Corinthians 6. That's where the first rebuke occurred. And here again in
