Last week I talked about how the Southern colonies had all chased off their royal governors

during the summer and fall of 1775. It then occurred to me that I really ought to do the same for the rest

of the colonies to make clear that the entire continent was up in arms. So I want to go through

a brief overview of New England and Middle Colonies and what they were doing with their governments in the summer and fall of 1775.

Massachusetts, of course, was the epicenter of the rebellion, and I've already discussed that colony situation in great detail in past episodes.
