And Chantal, I feel like you're a legend around Watermark, honestly.

I mean, when I think about your

reputation, we haven't probably officially met until today, but I just hear a woman of God.

And so I'm encouraged to hear you share you share a little bit more about yourself.

Well, thank you. That's very kind. Yeah, let me just give a little bit of background of how I got

to Watermark. So I didn't grow up in a Christian home.

I grew up in a Hindu home and followed Hinduism for 22 years, got to college, went to

school at UT, shout out to all my Longhorns out there. Oh, I went to A&M. Yeah, you and everyone

else at Watermark. I think there's five of us here. But got to UT,

really had to wrestle with what faith meant due to just some family dynamics and started

dating a guy the end of my junior year. And we dated for a year and a half. I moved to Dallas

and thought we'd get married. It ended up not working out.

And so I just was crushed. And someone told me about the porch. And so I came here and just,

it was the first time I learned that you didn't need to work your way to God, which is really what

the tenet of Hinduism is. It's all workspace, it's karma. And so if you do good,

then you'll be closer to God. If you don't do good, then you'll be further from God. And so
