I am working on a coffee table where the top will lift up and come towards you so you can eat off of it or

oh yeah that cool hardware yeah you put your laptop on it and making that out of walnut

plywood and it's got an aluminum base where I'm

soldering the aluminum pieces together my first time doing that and so it's

Very cool. I'm working on my vampire spike table. I didn't decide to call it that until after I posted the picture on Instagram and then all of a sudden I'm like oh cool they look like vampire spike so that's what I keep calling it the vampire spike table and that was really just the that started out as an experiment on my new lathe playing with the tapering jig and so I envision the table with big aluminum legs poking through and then while I was working on it I came up with the idea of

hammering the tops so they look like spikes that have been used over and over so
