Hello.

This show, Citations Needed, we describe as a podcast that's going to cover media, PR, and

history of bullshit.

That is our tagline and it's pretty accurate.

We are a media focused podcast that tries to devil into things that deal.

I guess some more left or liberal spaces hopefully won't pigeonhole us Adam.

I was telling him off there earlier, I like the fact that we are unapologetically left

and we don't do the faux-bov sides thing.

I mean we want to obviously be fair, but I think a lot of my problem with a lot of political

podcasts is they spend all this time bending over backwards when it's just like tell

me what you really think.

I think that a lot of what we're going to be talking about on this show in general

are issues that actually relate directly to this kind of both sides ism and that actually

only one side of a lot of topics is often discussed.

I want to start off with a disclaimer.

Today's episode is about the media coverage of North Korea.

There's a habit in I think a lot of liberal or maybe even lefty circles that whenever

you talk about official US enemies you have to throw in this kind of perfunctory thing
