I've sat up the last few nights, thinking about the best way to describe where we are.

Where we've come from, because we've covered quite a bit.

I found myself trying to think of the best metaphor I could use to tie it all together

and give a little bit of context to this period of time we're moving into, because we're

going to need some context.

I know where this is all headed.

I think many of us know where this is all heading.

Things are about to get really awesome in philosophy, and I had all these examples and

metaphors I was throwing around in my head and none of them really captured what I was
