I don't know your answer, but I think I'm learning that temptation is often not the problem.

Rather, our response to it might be.

But for some of us, more screen time

is the last thing we need. So if reading God's word on your computer or phone opens the door

for more distractions, I'd recommend you join the journey through one of two ways. First, we've got

the reading plan and PDF form on the website.

If you're in Dallas, you can pick up a copy of the PDF at the Welcome Desk at Watermark,

my church, on Sunday mornings.

But if you're not in Dallas, just simply click on the resources tab, download the free PDF,

print it out, and stick it in your Bible.

Additionally, this year, we've brought back the Join the Journey Journal, which you can check out on Amazon. In today's Devo on Matthew 4, Courtney showed us that being

tempted isn't our problem. It's how we respond to the temptation. She pointed out that Simon,

Andrew, James, and John immediately dropped everything to follow Jesus.

And she had a great personal takeaway.

Courtney said, to be honest, I can think of many different times in my life where I was sitting in church listening to the sermon, and I knew I was not choosing to immediately follow Jesus.

I would feel convicted, but as soon as the sermon ended, I went back to my sinful ways.
