In this week's episode of the Turkey Hunter podcast with Andy Galeano, I am interviewing Colonel Tom Kelly.

So I have the pleasure of interviewing him today and a little bit about Colonel Tom Kelly. So I have the pleasure of interviewing him today and a little bit about Colonel Tom Kelly, if you don't already know who he is.

Colonel Kelly was born in 1927. He's a father, a grandfather, a veteran of the military, and a war veteran as well.

He's a lifelong forester and an avid hunter who writes

non-fiction articles and books centered on turkey hunting. Colonel Kelly has an incredible

way of weaving the connections between turkey hunting, human relationships, and history

into his writings. Undoubtedly, if you've read any of his works, you've identified with at least a few of his tales or expressions of the sport of turkey hunting that we love so much.

Colonel Kelly's sense of humor, wit, and elaborate storytelling skills have made his book's bestsellers among the turkey hunting community.

He wrote 10th Legion in 1973, and he's written numerous books and magazine

articles over the years. Colonel Kelly currently writes a monthly magazine article that readers

can find on the last page of Turkey Country Magazine, which is produced by the NWTF. This

interview is broken into three parts. You are listening to part one. In this first part,
