Today we have a guest host, not Matt Kirsten, who is our regular host. He's out of town doing comedy instead of a podcast in my living room. We like to start off by just explaining why we should or should not be talking about science and whether our guests should be either.

So my background, I studied engineering in school, electrical engineering, and I used

that for a few years out of school and then abandoned that as quickly as I could to pursue comedy-related things.

But I still enjoy staying abreast of science topics and lording my intelligence over the general comedy community.
