Hello and welcome to the first episode of the Starting Zone.

We are the podcast for new players in the World of Warcraft. I am your

host Jesse Kobayashi and with me is the beautiful and talented Mick Montgomery.

Mick how you doing tonight? Not out of everybody. I'm glad to be here.

Glad that you're healthy.

I know you've been fighting off a cold for a little while.

How you feeling? Oh, man, it's just lingering.

I mean, I still have it, but at least I can speak now I mean before it was just just

awful it's going awful no fun it's like that switch from the from winter to spring

just gets you all screwed up.

Well, I'm sure all you guys are asking, why the heck are you doing another podcast, another

World of Warcraft podcast?

Aren't there already a thousand of them out there?

Well, there are, and a lot of them are excellent podcasts, and we'll probably mention

many of them throughout the course of our episodes.

But we felt as though there's a need for a podcast for World of Warcraft for new players. The players that are just coming to the game

in the last few months, maybe saw some of the advertisements for Wrath of the Litch King and said,

well, you know what, I've heard so much about this game.

Maybe I'll give it a shot.

And they're getting in this huge game

and they're finding themselves in these starting zone areas

...
