Welcome to episode one of the Love and Respect Podcast. I'm Jonathan Egrich

and I'm here with my father Emerson Egrich and we're so glad that you could

be with us for this inaugural episode of the podcast. We hope that you will

continue to join us in the weeks and months ahead as we discuss some exciting topics pertaining to marriage relationships and other things

that hopefully interest you as well as us.

Today we're going to be touching on a number of topics which we'll get to in a few minutes, but first I thought it might be good in this first episode to talk about ourselves a little bit, to give you an understanding of who we are and why we're

choosing to do this.

So I'll let you go first dad, just maybe share a little bit about yourself and why we're doing this.

Well, we're excited about this podcast, Jonathan, and I'm especially and personally excited because you and I really are collaboring on this as a really have a

first time that we've done something particularly after you completed your

clinical psych degree five years at George Fox University getting his doctor to clinical psychology then serving in the Navy for four years and then recently moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan where Sarah and I live and so he and I are launching this as he said we are thrilled with the

inaugural element and our hope is that we'll serve you and serve you well in this

podcast in the series that follow it is an exciting day with technology and all the advances and what we can do.

You can listen on treadmill while you're driving in a car or anywhere for that matter.

But you know, both of us have some unique features that we're bringing to the table here.
