Hi guys. And, you know, it's Epilepsy Awareness Month and Infantile Awareness Week, the first week of December.

I've described our son Maverick's journey

in pretty detail.

He was diagnosed with a very rare form of epilepsy called infantile spasms

at the age of six months. He's now five. He has had three brain surgeries which we're going to talk about.

And today's very special because his neurologist, Dr. Sean Hussein at UCLA,

who, by all accounts for this condition infantile spasms is the number one guy in the world

that we were lucky enough to get to at the age of six months right when he was diagnosed

and he gives a master class on the brain, epilepsy,

infantile spasms and the challenges and resources required to help solve this problem, help children, and help kids, you know, have a better life that are diagnosed with, you know, these rare conditions.

Amanda, do you have anything to add?

Yeah, I think, most importantly, I think that research is just so very needed.
