Lay for your faith in His excellent Word.

When you pray, do you give God a shopping list of things that you'd like?

Or is your focus purely on physical needs?

You know, like, well, help my friends

recover from surgery or a tom to find a job.

Well, certainly, you know, these things aren't wrong to pray for.

We're to pray for everything.

But anytime we're interceding for others,

it is a good thing.

But according to Dr. J. Vernon McGee,

we can see a meaningful model of how we can pray for others

in the Apostle Paul's example when he prayed for the Ephesians.

It's a prayer that goes deeper.
