Summary

In 1997, 10-year-old Joel Kirkpatrick was killed in his bed while he slept. Joel's mother, Julie Harper, told police that she fought with an intruder in the house but he got away. Both the police and the prosecutor doubted Julie's story and zeroed in on her as the prime suspect. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss this tragic case. Not only did Julie Harper lose her son that night but she ended up in a fight for her life. Many people rallied to support her but the most important piece to the puzzle came from a notorious and sadistic serial killer.
