Hello and welcome to a Let's Talk About It. I am your host Taylor and today I'm joined

by one of my closest friends and almost kind of co-hosts repeat here. I've been a guest

several times but I'm in Montreal here staying with Vanessa and thanks so much for having

me like a over 10 days in your apartment but also for coming on the pod and today's a special

episode for both of us. I feel like I'm part of every episode that's a milestone in either

my life or in your life because we share so many stories. We're part of each other's

lives and I think I think it's so important whenever we're able to share these stories

with your audience and with your listeners who can learn from it and can definitely learn

from our mistakes because they've been plenty. Well it feels like it's a safe place like for

me at least it feels like you know the listeners of the podcast the people that support the

podcast are like like minded people and open-minded people where discussing these big really

vulnerable honestly very personal experiences sometimes doesn't feel as scary as perhaps

maybe some other forms of media or other outlets like it just it feels very safe and supportive

so I'm always excited I think to like it's a nervousness to it but it's also still exciting

to share these personal experiences on here. So is it what do you want to share today Taylor?

Few I guess over a year ago we had our episode Breakups are a bitch and that was when Derek

Paith and I split and went our separate ways and that's how he say his last name. Yeah that was
