Hey everybody, welcome back to the miraculous mom's podcast.

I'm your host Elizabeth Joy and we have an awesome episode for you guys today.

This podcast believes in empowering women through storytelling and education and we are going to do some storytelling today because November is national prematurely awareness month and nearly 400,000 babies are born preterm each year in the United States.

I will link some articles on the Instagram and Facebook page for you guys to check out on ways that you can prevent or just learn about it.

Obviously there are situations that aren't preventable but I thought it would be a great opportunity to bring somebody on who could share her story with us and it can be quite a scary journey if you're going through that.

I know so many of you mamas have and we think all of our Nick you nurses and the staff who support these families through that crazy time before I bring Katie on.

Okay. Well, I was one of those people that struggled to get pregnant and never thought that we would be struggling.

I'd always just kind of felt like I wanted to be a mom and just figure you know when the time was right we would just try and get pregnant and it would just be like that.

And that's not what happened. So it took us about a year and a half and within that time at about the year mark I ended up at my just OB office and they had run some tests and we're like, well, let's try you on Clown Mid and let's try you on lectures all.
