July 18th, 2004. I was 36 years old, so I wasn't that young. I had two kids.

I had money running extremely low. I had two kids. I had money running extremely low. I had a, I never had a career in this business. I was always an outsider who did things on my own, at my own pace, which was not necessarily a good thing, but I made my first short film, raised the money by doing stand-up shows.

And while I was working at New Line Cinema, made a second short film in a similar way.

And then two independent features that were not my thing that I came on and did the best I

can and did very well because they both sold the studios and they both were released around the

world.

But July 18, 2004 is the day that Entourage aired.

And, you know, I'm trying to take myself back to that moment.

And again, once you have whoever has children, once you have children, everything changes.

Like, it sucks to not have money when you don't have children. But when have children, everything changes. Like, it sucks to not have money

when you don't have children. But when you're worried about money, when you do have children,

that's a whole other thing. And your ideas of career and economics, everything starts to change

when you actually have to feed other people other than yourself.

And I'm again, when this show airs entourage for the first time on HBO,

I'm a year or so removed from seeing no future for myself and anything.

Thinking about law school, having no idea where to go,

what to do,

um,

and try to understand that HBO at the time,

there's no Netflix,

there's no show,
