Summary

With the rudder of the pod, Iain, having a week of recharging, it’s left to Eddie and Andrew to float aimlessly through the week in golf and plenty of other things. Eddie is back on Tour, in Prague, and his enthusiasm for the task ahead is obvious.

Eddie then tries his hand at being Joseph to interpret a dream which Andrew has had and they both then reflect on the golf in Paris and the Olympics in general.

There is a discussion of Aaron Rai and his first PGA Tour win amidst the shenanigans of Matt Kuchar and famous people called Rusty. And, with sensationalist click-bait in mind, the two also get into a DRUG BAN, a LAWSUIT and their LATE NIGHT BATHING HABITS.

He goes to a retreat in the northern forests of Finland,

0:48.8

which he swears by no technology.

0:51.8

And his various treatments, cold water therapy,

0:57.5

infusions of elk fat, I don't know, he gets a former Soviet hammer thrower, I think it is, who now lives in Finland, to walk up and down his spine

1:03.2

while beating him with Lingenberry branches and berates him, tells him he's inadequate.

1:09.2

But it's, and it makes him stronger. Apparently,

1:11.4

that's why he does it. So Ian, next week he'll be a titan. But Eddie Pepperl's here. Eddie has

1:16.4

recharged. I think that's what Sarah does to Ian every week. You just reminded me. I once, during

1:23.7

COVID, broke the rules as can you believe that? And a event in the yorker and didn't stay in the

1:29.1

official hotel and booked myself a hotel that had like retreat next to it because i thought i needed it

1:34.2

1:45.2

By contrast, how was the new forest? Did you ride a pony?

I didn't, but beautiful place, beautiful place. I have to say, me and Jen loved it and

1:54.3

the dogs enjoyed it. Otherworldly really, all of the wild ponies. They are definitely ponies.
