It's time now for the chipping forecast, issued by Folding Pocket on behalf of Andrew Cotter, Eddie Pepperall and special guest Ian Carter.

Hello there, welcome to the chipping forecast.

I am Andrew Carter.

We are without a regular special guest, Ian Carter, this week.

As he mentioned last week,

he's gone a bit off-grid this week to recharge, to decompress.

He goes to a retreat in the northern forests of Finland,

which he swears by no technology.

And his various treatments, cold water therapy,

infusions of elk fat, I don't know, he gets a former Soviet hammer thrower, I think it is, who now lives in Finland, to walk up and down his spine

while beating him with Lingenberry branches and berates him, tells him he's inadequate.

But it's, and it makes him stronger. Apparently,

that's why he does it. So Ian, next week he'll be a titan. But Eddie Pepperl's here. Eddie has

recharged. I think that's what Sarah does to Ian every week. You just reminded me. I once, during

COVID, broke the rules as can you believe that? And a event in the yorker and didn't stay in the

official hotel and booked myself a hotel that had like retreat next to it because i thought i needed it

and it was up in these mountains in miyorka and the last 15 minutes of the drive you would i think only

really a goat could could access it properly it was it was a nightmare, but it was a lovely, lovely place.

By contrast, how was the new forest? Did you ride a pony?

I didn't, but beautiful place, beautiful place. I have to say, me and Jen loved it and

the dogs enjoyed it. Otherworldly really, all of the wild ponies. They are definitely ponies.
