This is a great day for me.

I'm sure that it is a great day for you. Why? Because you have found

the best podcast in the podcast world. Well, I think so. And I am glad you're listening to me today.

And today's conversation is based off of a phone call I got the other day. Here and there I get these

phone calls from pilots that are in the process of trying to get ready for their interview.

And maybe they are just filling out their application. Maybe they have an actual interview

scheduled. And

typically what people want to talk about when they hear that I work with Spitfire and that I'm an

interview coach is they want to talk about their dirty laundry, the things that are hard to talk

about. And I've done a couple shows about what it's like to talk

about hard things. But recently, my experience has been that when somebody reaches out and they

want to have a conversation about their history, they want to talk about a failure or an arrest

or speeding tickets or what have you, a hard thing.

And usually when I hear somebody talk about one of those things, they tell me, hey, I'm worried that I can't get hired because of this thing.
