Welcome to episode 6 of the National Pulse Amr Hinkassam, Editor-in-Chief of the National

Pulse Top Command, it's Friday February 50th of our Lord 20, 21 Broadcasting from a

very spring-like capital.

Until today I'm very excited about the weather being much better because it has been slushy

and freezing and rainy and nasty and I'm British and the weather means a lot to me, it's

one of the only things we talk about where I'm from, the weather, but it also is purking

me right up to see Washington DC sort of coming back to life and I know for a lot of you

out they will think oh no the swamp coming back to life is not a good thing and I agree

with you the swamp coming back to life is not a good thing but for a lot of us all around

the country indeed all around the world life, life and livelihood and everything that

we enjoy about socializing and all of those things have been bereft in our lives over

the last year or so and so it's not so much about Washington DC is just about everywhere,

it's actually just nice to see some people and while I appreciate the most people in

Washington DC probably do not feel the same way about seeing me.

What I'm going to tell you it is it is a stark change from several weeks ago in the gloomy

rain and snow as we saw our capital here on Capitol Hill come under lockdown and of course

if you listen to yesterday's podcast if you listen to what we talked about with Alexandra

Akasya Cortez and her falsehoods her outright demonstrable falsehoods about where she was and

how much threat she was under on January the 6th then you know in my head and in my heart

what I associate January with so believe me when I say from every little tiny bit of

being that's within me is that February is a new month and we push on to new things and

that doesn't mean we forget the old things I'll know today's show we are going to remember
