Today we're talking about all things mediumship. I'm going to give some mediumship history, some background.

I'm going to tell you how I do mediumship personally. And then we have a really special interview with a woman named Jade who had a loss, a loss of her baby.

So a little trigger warning there. That's the last 25 minutes. We're going to be doing mediumship, a mediumship reading for her.

Yes. Which was very interesting. It was. The episode, I guess we've been getting a lot of comments about it being spirit haunted forever.

It's crazy. So when we were like, whenever we talked Emily, the house owner, there was so much, I felt so much energy.

And when we were recording, I wondered to him, like, is this kind of like pop off? And but listen, like we recorded, I always listened to it back before I sent it to editing and stuff.

And there was nothing like it was clear. And then everybody's been telling me, there's this part, go listen to this part. I did this happen. Weird things.

Spirit every time she was talking to. Yeah. Something came up. Yeah. Oh my gosh. It was it was cool. That's unbelievable. But you know, when we after coming back from the trip and there was, you know, a lot of, we heard a lot of stories from people.

You know, about mediumship and say ounces and, you know, tables flying. Spiritualism. Yeah. Spiritualism. It's a religion. Yeah. Yeah. You know, and I'll tell you the truth.

I didn't know what they were talking about at the time. So like anything, I like to do a little homework and research. You do. And look into it. So, you know, first thing I started with just what is what is spiritualism.

And basically it's just a belief system where you believe that people communicate with the dead, the deceased. And it's usually through a medium.

Okay. Such as yourself. Because you're your medium. Right. I mean, that's a very simplistic definition. You know, like obviously spiritual probably going to it in much more greater detail than I can. But that's basically the gist of it.

And in essence, mediumship is like the fundamental, you know, the pillar of the movement. Okay. So like when you think of like mediums, usually there's like a training involved.

Okay. Yeah. I guess, I mean, you're not formally trained. You know, like classes. No. But usually there's a training period about five to eight years. Okay. Yes. Yes. In spiritualism. Yes. Yeah. And there's a lot of things that you do.

So this training period sometimes is called sitting in circle. Yeah. Do you have? I don't know if there were. Because like we grew up near Lillie, down New York. And that's a spiritualist community. It's like we were talking about sister city to Cassadega.
