As a former baseball player, I am very excited about the guy we have on with us today. 14-year Big League veteran, three-time All-Star, and owner of Sure Shot game calls Mr. Jay Bruce. Jay, how you doing, man? I'm doing, man. How are you? I'm doing great. Thank you for joining me today. Oh, thanks for having me. I know we talked briefly about it before we got on here,

but I'm going to, I want to talk about it a little bit more so our listeners can hear it.

I know things must feel a little weird for you not being in Florida this time of year.

I know it's early, but how are you feeling about the transition so far?

Man, it's been good. You know, it's been good how are you feeling about the transition so far man it's been good you know it's been good yeah i would i would be you know lying here if i said that you know i haven't thought

about it i haven't you know wondered you know what it would be what it would be like if i was still

playing this and that but i'm what i need to be man you know I am very very fortunate to have had the career

that I had you know I did everything that I could have imagined I think everyone wants

to be better at whatever they do so to say that it's not even more saying but you know I don't

feel like I left something on the table or man I you I, you know, still need to be out there.

If I had done this, this or that, you know, I'm good where I am.

You know, I've got a beautiful family here at home.

And I have this new venture in Shurshot that I've been kind of, you know, just completely, you know, immersed in.

So it's, it's been fun, man. I'm still a huge fan of the game. I love baseball. I always will. I'll watch it. I've got good friends that are, you know, that I've made throughout the time playing and that I'll keep up with. But there's a new chapter in my life, and I'm really excited about that too. Awesome's great to connect with a ball player that's passionate about waterfow hunting.

You would think there would be a ton of guys that are into waterfow hunting with the seasons being perfect for one another.

But my experience was few and far between.

Do you have many buddies from your past teams that were hardcore waterfow hunters?

Yeah, you know, you find a couple of guys a team that, like, have done it or do it a little bit.

You see a lot more deer hunting.

And, you know, you kind of have to look for them if you're going to find those waterfall guys.
