And I'd love to talk a little at first about that.

How did you transition from being an IT expert into something as specific and medical as diabetes?

Well, it was way back in 2003, and I was studying for an undergraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence down the road at Imperial College London.

And my grandfather happened to

suffer a quadruple heart bypass in May 2003, around about April, May time. He was asking,

he was asking the whole family what he should be eating because he had subsequently developed

type to diabetes based on essentially his health status. He wasn't sure what to eat, nor was the rest of our family,

and we're from quite a multicultural family, sort of Caucasian origins. We have sort of Indian

origins. It's quite a mix. And so we have lots of different types of breads that he could choose
