and was I a bit heavy-handed in that episode?

Most of you got the point.

And the point is that regardless if your question is good or bad chances are it can be easily solved by

what is in my material what is already on Google or just by testing the whole process

at yourself and seeing if it works.

I think there was a good lesson there and that lesson is if you feel like you have one issue

or question blocking your progress, chances are it doesn't really have to be that way.

These problems are easily solvable on your own.

You just got to put your head down and make it work.
