Trying to record a podcast myself.

I have sunk this low that this is where it's at.

And I want to give a lesson to anyone out there who's listening, if you're in this town,

follow through is imperative. Because the in this town. Follow through is

imperative because the problem with L.A. is there's absolutely no barrier to entry. Any fucking

moron can put themselves in Hollywood and say I'm a writer, I'm a director, I'm a producer.

Anyone. You don't need anything. You don't need to go to law school, medical school like you do

if you want to be a lawyer or a doctor. You don't need anything except a car maybe. Not even that. You just need your feet to get you to Hollywood and you walk in town and say I'm a writer. I'm a producer and I'm a director. And then you can go start fighting the fights. And I've been here since 1990. The friends that I came up with, a lot of them,

most of them have vanished, long gone, back to their lives, at whatever. And again,

that's terrible when it doesn't work out for somebody. But for the most part, those people that I know

that it didn't work out for is because they were lazy, because they were blinded by the wrong

fucking things, and because they were lazy, because they were blinded by the wrong fucking things,

and because they were searching for shit that is irrelevant to what you should be here for,

which is because you want to create, because you want to work.

And again, I'm not going to say there's not a lot of people out here who came out of here

and made a lot of money and they went and did that.

But all of the people that I know that have succeeded in whatever

form they have, whether they've made horrible shows over and over again, whether they became

enormous agents that made millions and millions of dollars. Everyone I know that succeeded,

grinded and had follow through. The ones that don't grind, the ones that don't have follow through

will end up back in their little shitty towns going, oh, Hollywood is so hard, it's so difficult. I don't grind, the ones that don't have follow-through, will end up back in their little
