Easton, Maryland to discover the best of local wildlife, nature, art, heritage, food, and fun at the

annual Waterfowl Festival. Today, I am joined by the vice president of the Waterfowl Festival and world champion caller, Mr. Teddy Hoover.

Teddy, thanks for joining me today.

Hey, thanks for having me on.

I'm excited to talk to you guys.

Absolutely.

Where are you coming at me from today?

So right now I live in Easton.

I'm sitting in my office.

Just got done hunting for the morning. And after I'm done here, I'm going to get my dog a bath. Before we went live right here, we were just briefly talking, said he went on a little duck hunt this morning. You want to just tell us about it? Yeah, we just, you know, I was meeting a couple of my buddies. We went on a quick little waterpout hunt.

We showed up late, got all the rookie novice amateur mistakes out of the way for the first time of the year.

And my dog did really well.

So I'm no professional dog trainer, man.

I kind of have no idea what I'm doing.

And I trained him myself.

And for him to make three

blind retrieves from a boat line I couldn't be more happy absolutely Labrador or yeah a little

black lab so he got himself a scrap leg and cheese sandwich for breakfast this morning what kind

of birds did you guys kill uh killed three mallards uh we were actually after some teal and wood ducks, but we were about 10 minutes too late,
