So I've always been interested in doing one of those at-home kits that tell your ethnicity estimates. First mistake. Never do that if you want to have a peaceful family. That's right. If we've learned anything on this show. My mother has for many years claimed that her own great grandmother was completely and utterly Native

American. And I recently learned that this is apparently something common for Southerners to claim.

But it is rarely true. Is that true? That is that is true. Oh, like, they'll be like, I'm one

eighth Cherokee. Yes. I, uh, same thing. But John is actually one thing in my family. Um, the one thing I will say is we do have photographs of my great grandmother who seems Native American, but did you get tested? Oh no, I haven't been. I need I need to get the test. Yeah, I want to see how. I'll do the test and then we'll make sure. Are Are you Cherokee? Like, what? What's the? Yeah.

You know what? I shouldn't even say because I can't even remember. But I'm at this point, it's like my great grandmother. So I'm like, she was either, maybe she was half or full. I can't even remember. But I'm like 100. You know, what is it? 64th or 132nd or something like that.

Huh.

It's not a lot.
