Well, hey, everyone, it's Nate.

Thanks for tuning in. Episode 432 of the Vinyl Guide.

0:08.4

And I've got a few things to share before we get to our interview with Eric Melvin of no effects.

0:14.4

First off, you may notice or you may not notice, this episode is coming out a bit early, quite hot on the heels of

0:22.7

episode 431 with Pat Finnerty. And the reason is coming out early is because I've just got a

0:29.2

huge weekend. A bunch of shows. I'm driving across the state to see off in Canberra and driving

0:35.5

1:38.3

to Eric Melvin about it. No FX, a band I really cannot remember a time when they were not touring, has finally decided to call it a day.

1:48.3

And they're going out on their own terms, which that's admirable and totally understandable.

1:54.1

The road cannot be a comfortable place for someone who's approaching 60.

1:59.6

It's rough for me just getting on one

2:02.7

international flight, let alone several of them each month. And the fact that no effects is calling
