Summary

Last week we ended in 1764 with the conclusion of the French and Indian War. This week we pull together a summary of many of the past episodes to bring all of the pieces from 1764 - 1774 into focus. This period is a critical period of revolutionary and independence awakening that brings the colonies to the breaking point and ultimately separation from the UK. Many have died as a consequence of the empire wars between France and England. England has pivoted from being the protector and overseer to becoming a hand of tyranny treating the colonies increasingly like rebels and enemies of the state.
