Bonjour, another blue sky here in Paris today.

Welcome to day four of 10 days in Paris with the running channel.

And just before we get into it, I went on a truly sensational run this morning. As in the Sen, the river that

runs through Paris. You got it. Yeah, I was waiting for one of your puns, Rick, and that was truly,

truly awful. You're both idiots. I don't know why we bother doing this, but we've got so much good

stuff to get through that I think we had our most exciting day to date in Paris yesterday. So we need to recap on that. But first, a massive thank

you again to Essex, without whom this would not be possible. So a big thank you again. Now let's get stuck

into another day in Paris podcast. Well, where do we start?

Oh my goodness.

I don't think a better night could exist.

Like the athletics just keeps getting better and better and better and better. And

what I can't, I can't stop smiling. I can't go over what we witnessed. And out of the three

of us, let's be honest, last year we went to the to Budapest, to the World Championships, right,

the Olympics this year. The most reluctant track and field fan amongst us, I think, is Rick,

is Rick Kelsey, despite having you had to follow my career long, long suffering.

And I think you only did that because you were my friend.

And then yesterday, Sarah and I had to drag you out of the stadium.

Yeah, me and Andy were trying to make like a relatively like classic British thing.

There are 80,000 people in the stadium.

And as you would imagine, leaving is very well organised, but still chaos.

So we were going, right, okay, should we make a move? And Rick over here was not happy to make a move

because he was watching his new best mate, best pal, posters up on his bedroom wall, Mondo de Plantis,
